Out of a select consortium of contractors, Starbucks awarded this high profile project to BDG Construction to construct their store in Bridgehampton, New York. Starbucks wanted their interior space to reflect the same sophistication and modern tastes they exemplify at their many locations and through their products. Therefore, BDG was well suited to undertake the challenge and create a space that truly manifested Starbuck’s corporate personality. The project began with the demolition of the existing interior space. BDG then collaborated with Starbucks and their architect to create an interior space that was enlivened by the juxtaposition of tiles, product display kiosks and barista stations of earth tone hues and stainless steel appliances and geometrically shaped light fixtures. Through the eloquent completion of this space, BDG captured Starbucks’ modern metropolitan chic identity. Furthermore, by having a constant dialogue with this client, the finished product was in accordance with Starbucks’ budget and vision.
