Overview

BDG constructed Bulova Retail Plaza adjacent to Bulova Corporate Center in Jackson Heights, NY and wanted to complement the array of services provided at Bulova Corporate Center by bringing the convenience of big box retail to this site that sits at the intersection of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and the Grand Central Parkway. 30,000 square feet was devoted to the construction of a new Bed Bath and Beyond store. BDG provided all construction services to see the project from beginning to end. The project began with BDG’s preconstruction services, budgeting and value engineering, which allowed for the confident execution of the job. BDG worked with the building’s architect and Bed Bath and Beyond to assure the tenant that their space would allow for the fluidity of customer traffic and would boldly display merchandise. BDG exercised shrewd planning by erecting the building’s exterior with concrete panels, glass and EIFS for the storefront. At the project’s completion, the tenant, Bed Bath and Beyond, simply turned the key to the front door and entered into an astutely planned and constructed space that was ready for business.
