Assistant Director of Community and Government Affairs
Hannah joined BDG’s development team in January 2018. Prior to joining BDG, she worked at New York City Economic Development Corporation in Real Estate Transaction Services, facilitating economic development through the redevelopment of underutilized City-owned assets. Hannah worked on land sales, leases, and project entitlement for industrial, commercial and residential properties; including a 1,000 unit mixed-use affordable housing development in the South Bronx. Prior to her time at NYCEDC, Hannah focused on placemaking and public space planning in NYC through her work at Project for Public Spaces and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation where she contributed to the preparation of a master plan for Van Cortland Park in the Bronx. She also lived in Washington, D.C. where she worked as an Economic and Policy Analyst at the Department of Homeland Security.
Hannah holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Economics from Wellesley College, and spent a year at London School of Economics and Political Science studying Economic History. She received her Master’s in Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
